From product launches to training events and industry conferences, it’s definitely been a big 2015 for ReSound & Otometrics. Here’s a quick review of what happened in 2015.


In 2015 GN ReSound and Cochlear Limited announced a strategic alliance to develop the world’s smartest bimodal hearing solutions. This innovative collaboration will improve the hearing outcomes for more people of all ages with moderate to profound hearing loss. It will simplify the management of hearing solutions for hearing health professionals.

ReSound LiNX2 9 and 7 
An improved and extended product family line up to the previously launched ReSound LiNX. Launched with major events held in NZ and a roadshow across Australia. This event was supported by our very own Dr John Nelson from ReSound Global Audiology in the USA.

ReSound LiNX2 5 came along shortly after our major launch of the 9 and 7 which proved very popular with the audiology community. By popular demand, you wanted a mid range option so we delivered.
Designed to complete the full family offering of the smartest hearing aid, the level 5 device range fit in perfectly.

ReSound Enya 
The entry level product family in the ReSound portfolio, finally completing the larger puzzle of offering you the best product solutions to choose from at  all price and technology levels. Launched with major events held in NZ and a roadshow across Australia supported by Dr Steve Hallenbeck from ReSound Global Audiology in the USA.

ReSound Up Smart SP 98
Launched in NZ only as an extension to the Up Smart family, making more models available for your paediatric fitting needs.

ReSound Relief App
A simple easy to use app which  a combination of sound therapy and relaxing exercises that aim to distract your brain from focusing on the tinnitus. Over time the brain learns to focus less on the tinnitus,
and more on sounds that are important to you.
